Your signature scent awaits: the six winners of our GLAMOUR Beauty Power List Awards
Fragrance has to be the most evocative sector of the beauty world. A scent can immediately change how you feel and whip you back in time to unlock a treasured memory. This is because parts of the brain are hard-wired to process smell, emotion and memories.
With that said, there are certain scents that have mass appeal courtesy of addictive blends that always fly off the shelves – and we found six of them.
From fresh floral perfumes to sensual oud scents, the GLAMOUR Beauty Power List Awards brings you coveted all-stars in six different fragrance categories. And to make sure that they really are top of class, the line-up includes nominations from fragrance experts and content creators, Alice du Parcq and Josephine Fel.

Inspired by the imaginative potential of a blank page, L’Eau Papier uses white musk, sunny mimosa and roasted sesame seeds to conjure up the clean and earthy aroma of fresh ink on paper. A darker and more intense iteration of the original For Her fragrance, this sensual skin scent has stolen our hearts with its cocooning blend of velvety plum, warm heliotrope and cosy leather suede. The Body Shop Full Iris, £42 for 75ml EDP
Phlur Missing Person, £96 for 50ml EDP
Best new fragrance
Chanel’s iconic Coco Mademoiselle Eau de Parfum and Hair Mist both already have a legion of fans. But this year, the House launched a new iteration: the Coco Mademoiselle Hair Perfume. A more concentrated, longer-lasting fragrance than the Mist, your hair’s natural movement will ensure you are enveloped in the soft petal scent all day. Pairing rose and jasmine with vetiver and patchouli, the perfume leaves a fresh, airy trail in your wake, while an enriched formula prevents hair from feeling crispy. Housed in a frosted pink bottle, it gets our vote on looks alone.
