Some Mugler H&M pieces are still in stock – GO GO GO!
PSA: some Mugler H&M collection pieces have been restocked, so if you missed out the first time now is your chance. It's go go go for anyone and everyone with an admiration for either brand, as this might be the last time you get to shop it.
The high-street designer collaboration that has had us all on tenterhooks since it was announced back in February, and when the H&M x Mugler launch day finally happened (11th May) it went down in fashion history.
Plenty of people missed out on their wish list items, though, so we've been patiently waiting and stalking the website for any sign of a re-stock. Thankfully, it appears there are several items still up for grabs in plenty of sizes, so we're adding everything to cart before those inevitable ‘sold out’ signs start appearing. Again.
If you're stuck on what to order, we managed to secure a pre-launch invite to the H&M Showroom for a good ol' fashioned try-on. Our favourite pieces that stood out? The mesh-panelled bodysuit, corset-style mini dress, leather trench coat and velvet peplum dress among others.

H&M is, of course, already well-known for its major designer label collabs. The Scandi retailer has previously launched collections with fashion houses including Karl Lagerfeld (2004), Erdem (2017), Balmain (2015), Simone Rocha (2021), Moschino (2018), Giambattista Valli (2020), Jimmy Choo (2009), Versace (2011), Stella McCartney (2005), Isabel Marant (2013), Marni (2012) and Maison Martin Margiela (2013).
Adored by everyone from Megan Fox and Kim Kardashian to Bella Hadid, Kylie Jenner and Dua Lipa, the couture house of Mugler is one of the biggest partners H&M has ever teamed up with thanks to creative advisor Ann-Sofie Johansson.
“H&M is proud to share that its next designer collaboration will be with the house of Mugler,” read the statement.“The Mugler H&M collection, crafted under the direction of Mugler's Creative Director Casey Cadwallader, will encapsulate the unique and vibrant spirit of Mugler. The collection will be available online and in selected stores in Spring 2023.”
“H&M's history of designer collaborations is legendary and pioneering. For nearly two decades, H&M has been democratising high fashion by offering global audiences the chance to own special pieces of high-end designer history.”
If there was a degree in the art of creating excitement around the release date of a collaboration, its Mugler H&M that would teach it. Since the initial announcement, the two brands released a campaign starring Jerry Hall and a ‘Music Sounds Better With You’ music video that answered everyone's burning questions. Then there was that ~pretty~ major runway show in New York put on to celebrate the collection ahead of its launch. Everyone from Pamela Anderson to Precious Lee, Charli XCX, Chloë Sevigny and Lourdes Leon were sitting front row, of course, in head-to-toe get-ups from the collection, further solidifying everyone's anticipation.
Walking the show wearing the clothes, necklaces and accessories were the likes of Jill Kortleve and Irina Shayk, while Shy Girl, Amaarae, Eartheater, Arca and Total Freedom all performed.
After that? The high-street favourite, cherished for its Remake designs, took to the city of London and hosted an exclusive and intimate dinner with celebrities, influencers, editors and media to get us hyped even more. Attendees included Leomie Anderson, Nikki Lilly, Abby Roberts and Nikkita Chadha.
The cherry on the top of the H&M x Mugler cake? From the drip-fed campaign imagery releases to the celebrity-endorsed lookbook teasers, the Swedish brand has made sure its womenswear and menswear pieces are as size-inclusive as all of its other lines. Think: lots of Mugler's iconic tailoring, panelled denim, cut-out bodysuits, logo T-shirts and cinched waists available in sizes UK 6-22 (XS-XXL). We're certainly not complaining.
