Ridge and Jade from Married at First Sight Australia 2024 might have been the last couple to get married on season 9 of the series, though the pair proved to have one of the strongest connections, well and truly stealing our hearts.
In addition to being the final couple to wed, 26-year-old executive assistant Jade and 27-year-old psychiatric nurse Ridge were also the youngest couple on this year's MAFS Australia season, with the pair joining in episode 15. Since then, the couple have gone from strength to strength, and at this point we're fully invested and need to know if they've gone the distance since the experiment.
Though MAFS Australia isn't set to finish airing in the UK until later in the month, the final vows and reunion have already come and gone in Australia, so be warned that spoilers lie ahead!

Are Ridge and Jade still together?
Being late to the season, it's safe to say that the pressure was on for Jade and Ridge to find a connection. Thankfully, the chemistry between the two was immediately apparent, though amid flirting drama and even cheating rumours, their MAFS Australia story wasn't all smooth sailing.
Their journey started off well, with Ridge's first impression being “She's gorgeous” while Jade commented "He is very nice to look at, so out of 10, I'm going to give him a solid eight."
Despite having just met as per the experiment, their vows were likewise incredibly cute, with Jade saying “I hope to grow together as a team, making every day special and bringing out the best in each other."
Ridge echoed this in his own vows in which he said "I promise to always provide a sturdy shoulder for you to cry on, hopefully not because of me."

Post wedding and honeymoon, the couple's bond clearly grew stronger, with Jade introducing Ridge to her daughter and the three enjoying a day out at the zoo.
Likewise, though Jack expressed interest in Jade during feedback week, their interaction only served to reinforce her excitement over prospects with Ridge.
However, the first bump in the road came up during the homestay week in which Ridge went to visit Jade's family, moving in with them for a week on the Gold Coast.
One awkward family lunch later featuring some standard Ridge banter raised concern among Jade's family over his maturity and left them wondering if Ridge was a good match.
In efforts to prove himself, Ridge then organised a thoughtful date for Jade and the pair talked over their plans for the future together, though things quickly go awry when Ridge suggests they do the first six months post-experiment long distance (as they live in different states) before they figure out whether they want to move in together.
Jade took these comments as a sign that Ridge was looking to avoid commitment, though he did his best to reassure that this wasn't the case, even saying he came close to dropping the ‘L’ bomb during the homestay. Ahhh, things are getting serious!
Though Ridge brought his maturity back into question by *chanting* as Jade attempted to express her sincere feelings for him, the pair reconciled after a brief falling out, with Ridge revealing to the group his plans to move to the Gold Coast to move in with Jade and her daughter.
Unsurprisingly, when the final vows came around the pair agreed to continue their blossoming relationship outside the experiment and were very much still in love when the reunion was recorded.

Good news – it looks like Ridge and Jade are still very much going strong post MAFS Australia, with the couple regularly sharing cute pictures with each other on the ‘gram. Having spent Christmas together and being spotted on several trips out with Jade’s daughter, things seem hopeful for the pair!

That said, since the show, two of Ridge's apparent exes have made claims that the groom cheated on Jade with them.
According to So Dramatic!, two women alleged that Ridge was dating them during MAFS Australia filming, with one woman who claimed to be his ex saying "We were full together, and he called me and said he was going on MAFS. But then he asked me to wait for him and pick up where we left off when he was done."
She went on to clarify, explaining "We slept together in January, and Jade knows about it. He’s a piece of work, that’s for sure."

Likewise, another woman who claimed to be his ex said that she was dating Ridge “before, during and after filming,” adding "I’m so embarrassed to admit that now, but he also said I was the love of his life and would also call me the future mother of his kids just like he’s been calling Jade."
Eek.
Prior to this, there was more speculation as to Ridge's fidelity, with Jade saying on The Pulse with Seany B & Emma G that the rumours were true to a "certain point".
She explained “I think the line is very blurred with it. For me, I feel like it was a line that was crossed that I wasn't happy with, just because I didn't know about the interaction. In the physical [cheating] sense like, no.”
Taking to Facebook to address the rumours, Ridge disputed the claims, stating in a post:
"I’ve never cheated on Jade. We’ve had our ups and downs like in any relationship, but I’d never disrespect the future mother of my kids like that. Maybe you guys should check your facts before believing every bit of rubbish that’s posted on the internet."
Despite the claims of Ridge being unfaithful, the couple seem stronger than ever, with them even revealing in an interview with New Idea that they would love to have “boy and girl twins”, though Jade quickly added “I’d also like to do a little bit of travel together and I’ll definitely be waiting for another ring before we have any kiddies.”
